Sara Hauge at the 14th edition of Spoke’N’Word Festival
Danish Cultural Institute invites you to join us at the 14th edition of the international Spoke’N’Word Festival in Warszawa on December 1st.
The Spoke’N’Word Festival brings together artists from Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Switzerland.
The theme of this year’s festival is WE HAVE A UNIVERSE HERE, implying of course, that the stage at DZiK will create its own little universe of words.
“The invited poets, slam champions and spoken word masters, will talk about ‘Hubble without a cause,’ yoghurt strawberries, nasty emails and perfect rhymes. They will ask some important questions. What happens when you go offline? Can you create the singles’ state? Do people in love fall over more often than others? Where’s our joy of life? How many children can you feed with 6 million euro? Can we have one more question?”
Prior to the performance on Saturday night, the eleven performing artists will conduct a two-day workshop stimulating knowledge sharing and mutual inspiration.
When: December 1, 2018
Where: DZiK, Belwederska 44 A, 00-594 Warszawa
Admission is free of charge.
Curator: Natalia Malek
