Danish Cultural Institute is very proud to have HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark as patron.
The Royal patronage provides a connection to one of the most venerable institutions in Denmark – The Monarchy – the world’s oldest.
In May 2014, HRH Crown Princess Mary visited Poland. In Szczecin she opened the photo exhibition “Greenland” displaying works by arctic photographer Carsten Egevang. At the Institute in Warsaw she met with a group of influential cultural operators whose creative work strengthens the cultural relations between Denmark and Poland. The group included a.o. musician and composer Czesław Mozil, head of the H. C. Andersen Theatre in Lublin Arkadiusz Klucznik, “Pora na Skandynawię” festival manager Sylwia Schab, theatre director Wladimir Herman, flute player Bolette Roed and documentary film director Jacob Dammas.
Culture is only one of HRH Crown Princess Mary’s fields of interests. She is also active in social areas as cultural diversity, social exclusion, anti-bullying programs etc.
