Contact points. Author’s meeting with Grzegorz Wróblewski

Danish Cultural Institute and Convivo publishing house are organizing the author’s meeting with Grzegorz Wróblewski, Polish writer and artist living in Denmark. The meeting will take place to mark and promote the publication of his newest essay book Contact points.

 

Contact points is a part of One Essay series that presents texts of contemporary creators, historians and cultural researchers, ready to question the established narratives and existing cognitive schemes.

Poetry is wet and dry. [...] It will talk about love, cats and sexual organs. It wil isolate itself or take part in rock festivals in Roskilde. Occur on handmade paper and laptop screens. Crawl or jump during times of oppression, thaw, poverty and prosperity...
Grzegorz Wróblewski "Contact points"

Grzegorz Wróblewski – born in Gdańsk, Poland in 1962. Grew up in Warsaw where he lived in 1966-1985. Living and working in Copenhagen, Denmark since 1985. Author of books (poetry, drama, prose), among which: Ciamkowatość życia (1992/2002), Planety (1994), Noc w obozie Corteza (2007), Nowa Kolonia (2007), Dwie kobiety nad Atlantykiem (2011), Wanna Hansenów (2013), Gender (2013), Kosmonauci (2015), Namiestnik (2015), Choroba Morgellonów (2018), Miejsca styku (2018). His literary work has been translated into: Danish, English, Czech, Slovakian, Hungarian, Slovenian, Vietnamese, Norwegian, Swedish, Russian, Spanish and German. In Denmark he has recently published Digte (2015) oraz Cindys Vugge (2016).
