Magical „The Fir Tree” by Hans Christian Andersen at Guliwer Theatre
The Danish Cultural Institute invites you to the Guliwer Theater on December 6th for the premiere of a Christmas performance inspired by Hans Christian Andersens fairy tale „The Fir Tree”.
From the first moments of life, the fir tree was an exceptional one. As soon as it broke the clods of soil and exposed itself to sunlight, the fir tree began to fantasize about its destiny. Who will I be? – asked the forest animals. A home for birds? A mast of ships? What will happen to me and what will I experience? When will I be as big as old pine and spruce? Will I be lucky?
In the story written by Hans Christian Andersen, the happiness of the fir tree is fulfilled
during the Christmas Eve evening, in a meeting with children and the mysterious Klumpe-Dumpe.
