CONCERTS BY THE COPENHAGEN YOUTH ORCHESTRA
A brass orchestra consisting of 48 young people at the age of 12-25 gave concerts in Cracow, Wieliczka, Szczawnica, Kroscienko and Drezdenko.
The orchestra, established in 1955, is conducted by Thomas Viggo Pedersen. Its rich repertoire spreads from classical to contemporary music and includes works by G. Bizet, R. Wagner, J. and R. Strauss, C. Nielsen, L. Bernstein, G. Gershwin, A. Lloyd Webber.
During its Polish tour in 2003 the orchestra gave concerts in following cities:
- 30.06 - Cracow, Main Square
- 02.07 - Wieliczka, Salt Mine
- 03.07 - Szczawnica, open stage
- 03.07 - Kroscienko, open stage
- 07.07 - Drezdenko
